Contains the following type of materials: bound photographs in album form. Contains photographs of the following military organization: Field Artillery Board. General description of the collection: The Robert M. Danford photograph collection consist of a bound album of photos which contains three actual photographs and 41 pages of photographs of cartoon sketches all of a military nature. The album is titled "Random Activities of the Field Artillery Board". The photographs are: the outside and front of an unidentified 3-story brick building; a room with a table and chairs, one is overturned; a group of 15 officers and enlisted men and one female, all in uniform (except the female) of boots, jodhpurs, shirts, ties, and campaign hat. Many of the cartoons deal presumably with artillery subjects or activities or personalities of the Field Artillery Board. It is probable that one of the members of the Board was an amateur artist and extremely bored with the proceedings.
